A veterinary practice is seeking aLead Veterinarian to oversee its clinical team while continuing to provide high-quality companion animal care. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership while maintaining a high standard of veterinary care.

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Mentor and support veterinarians and support staff through coaching training and professional development.

  • Promote a collaborative workplace culture focused on teamwork communication and continuous improvement.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining clinical protocols workflows and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with leadership to improve operational performance client satisfaction and hospital efficiency.

  • Monitor compliance with medical safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records while supporting quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

  • Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of practice.

  • Previous clinical experience required.

  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

  • Strong clinical leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
