Location: Washington DC. (REMOTE) (Quarterly PI planning travel)
Contract: 6 Months (Potential Extension)
Position Overview:
Were looking for a systems-minded UX professional who combines strong experience design expertise with a passion for organizing complex information and creating intuitive customer-centered digital experiences. This individual excels at translating complex business requirements data structures content models and diverse user needs into clear information architectures user flows interaction patterns and scalable experiences.
You will collaborate closely with product owners researchers developers product managers and business stakeholders thriving in a fast-paced Agile environment where rapid experimentation and continuous validation are key. The role requires the ability to quickly translate ideas into low- medium- and high-fidelity prototypes that communicate concepts validate assumptions and support informed product decisions.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Personas journey maps service blueprints ecosystem maps and user flows
- Information architectures taxonomies content models navigation frameworks and scalable interaction patterns
- Low- medium- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Experience concepts future-state visions and end-to-end customer experience models
- Rapid prototyping and iterative design validation with product engineering research and business teams
- Usability studies concept-validation plans feedback sessions and synthesis of user research findings
- Customer journey and experience recommendations based on research analytics and stakeholder feedback
- Executive-ready storytelling artifacts presentations and design recommendations
- Clear documentation of design decisions interaction patterns requirements and implementation guidance
- Collaboration with developers and technical teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation fidelity
- Support for reusable design patterns component libraries and scalable UX standards
- Facilitation of design workshops stakeholder sessions and cross-functional collaboration
- Participation in in-person planning and collaboration sessions including quarterly PI Planning activities
Required Qualifications
- Significant hands-on experience in UX design product design interaction design information architecture service design or a related field
- Strong experience translating ambiguous business and customer needs into intuitive user experiences
- Proven ability to create personas journey maps user flows wireframes prototypes and future-state experience concepts
- Strong understanding of information architecture taxonomy content modeling navigation and interaction design
- Experience conducting or supporting usability testing concept validation and user-feedback activities
- Experience working with product owners researchers developers product managers and business stakeholders
- Strong presentation storytelling facilitation and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to clearly communicate design rationale tradeoffs and recommendations to technical business and executive audiences
- Experience working in Agile iterative or product-development environments
- Strong portfolio demonstrating information architecture user-flow design rapid prototyping and end-to-end product design thinking
- Ability to travel approximately 25% and participate in periodic in-person planning sessions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale digital products marketplaces ecommerce travel transportation hospitality or other customer-facing platforms
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments with multiple products platforms and stakeholder groups
- Experience with SharePoint or enterprise content and collaboration platforms
- Experience with design systems reusable component libraries or scalable UX standards
- Experience supporting product discovery rapid experimentation and customer-validation initiatives
- Strong understanding of service design and cross-channel customer experiences
- Experience developing executive-level presentations and experience strategy recommendations
