Lead Twos Teacher Early Childhood Classroom
The Learning Experience River Vale is seeking a caring and dependable Lead Twos Teacher to guide a classroom serving 2-year-old learners. This role focuses on helping children build independence communication skills and social-emotional confidence through engaging activities structured routines and positive teacher-child relationships.
This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with energetic young learners during an important stage of growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily classroom routines and activities for 2-year-old children
Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences and classroom centers
Encourage language development independence and positive social interaction
Create a safe organized and engaging classroom environment
Guide children through transitions including meals learning centers and group activities
Partner with families through regular communication and classroom updates
Collaborate with assistant teachers and center leadership
Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Prior childcare experience preferred
Experience working with toddlers or twos strongly preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Reliable nurturing and team-oriented approach
Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
