Lead Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop implement and maintain a comprehensive testing framework for the SAP Transportation Management system.

• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

• Design coordinate and oversee all testing activities including unit integration system and user acceptance testing.

• Create and manage test plans test cases and test scripts aligned with SAFE Agile principles.

• Establish and track quality metrics providing regular reports to senior leadership.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between development testing and business requirements.

• Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality and testing processes.

• Stay current with industry best practices in software testing particularly within DoD and ERP contexts.

Qualifications:
Required:

• US citizen with active Secret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field

• 8 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years in a leadership role

• Proven experience with SAP systems preferably SAP Transportation Management (TM)

• Strong understanding of SAFE Agile methodology and its application in large-scale projects

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Desired:

• Masters degree in a relevant field of study

• Advanced IT certifications such as ISTQB SAP or Agile/SAFE

• Experience working on DoD contracts or within the defense industry

• Familiarity with transportation and logistics systems
