Job Summary

We are not your average Audio Visual company. And we are looking for people that are not your average AV technicians!

We are looking to hire an individual as a Lead Technician & Programmer for Residential AV Home Technology to install and program smart home systems.

Commercial or Venue AV technicians need not apply. Residential AV ONLY! This position would require you to be in Austin/relocate to Austin TX.

Job Summary:

This position requires the technical knowledge of Audio Video and Lighting control systemsboth design and implementation. You must have extensive knowledge of Video Matrixes Audio Matrixes Home Theaters Throw Calculations Network Design Low-Voltage cabling and Equipment Rack Systems.
Works with other installers and independently in the completion of installs and service calls.

Proactive goal-oriented and skilled at executing standard industry standards
Requires excellent communication skills
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Job Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in residential control systems installation or service
Certifications Required: Control 4 Lutron RA-2 Lutron RA-3 Lutron HomeWorks
Ketra knowledge & programming preferred
Ability to achieve timeline goals independently
Advanced networking/data system installation and setup
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly detailed organized and multitask-driven
Candidates must own basic hand/power tools. Some tools/testers provided.
Physical requirements include standing sitting walking bending climbing reaching and lifting up to 80 lbs
Flexibility to travel or work overtime as necessary (not often)
Attention to detail
Hard Working
Optimistic and proactive solution-focused mindset
