Lead Software Engineer – Mesh Generation

• Responsibilities
  • Research design and develop robust and efficient algorithms for mesh generation.
  • Develop computational geometry algorithms for complex 2D and 3D models.
  • Improve mesh quality robustness and performance.
  • Investigate and resolve geometric topological and numerical issues.
  • Optimize performance using parallel computing and multithreading.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and integrate mesh generation technologies.
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools and agents to improve development productivity.
  • Contribute to code reviews testing debugging and documentation.
• Basic Qualifications
  • Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in data structures algorithms and computational geometry.
  • Strong programming skills in C.
  • Programming experience in Python.
  • Strong problem-solving teamwork and communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with mesh generation algorithms.
  • Experience with geometry processing or mesh optimization.
  • Knowledge of CAD geometry topology or geometry kernels.
  • Familiarity with parallel computing or multithreading.
  • Exposure to GPU programming is a plus.
  • Experience with AI-assisted software development and coding agents is a plus.

The annual salary range for California is $119000 to $221000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus equity and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
