Lead Software Engineer (Hybrid)

Broadridge is hiring! Were seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver software solutions that support financial information processing across cloud and on-premises this role youll mentor junior developers collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure solutions meet quality functional and compliance standards. Youll also leverage modern frameworks test automation and AI-enabled tools to improve development while helping lead Agile delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software solutions that support financial information processing across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Mentor and guide junior developers providing oversight to ensure effective task execution and delivery.
• Analyze business requirements and ensure software solutions meet defined functional and compliance needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to support seamless integration across system components.
• Maintain software quality and ensure adherence to Broadridge development standards and guidelines.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and frameworks that enhance software development and test automation capabilities.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve design coding and testing activities.
• Lead and actively participate in Agile ceremonies including planning stand-ups reviews and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
• 10 years of software engineering experience including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practical use cases for engineering acceleration.
• Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with AWS and containerized deployments using Docker.
• Experience with EKS ECS CI/CD and DevOps practices..
• Experience with Kafka and MQ
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices relational databases and DevOps.
• Knowledge of SQL

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $150000-$170000 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidates final salary including but not limited to relevant experience skills and education.
