Lead Software Engineer (GenAI & Microservices)

Our client a IT Services and Consulting company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (GenAI & Microservices) for their Irving TXlocation.

Responsibilities:

• This role will lead the design development and adoption of GenAI-powered engineering solutions while partnering closely with business and technology teams.
• Design develop and deploy GenAI-powered solutions
• Build and enhance Spring Boot microservices
• Integrate AI tools into enterprise SDLC and CI/CD workflows
• Drive GenAI adoption onboarding and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity
• Provide technical leadership troubleshooting and performance optimization

• We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Java microservices and Generative AI technologies to support a new strategic initiative at Wells Fargo.
• 16 years of software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot microservices
• Full-stack development experience using Java React/Angular TypeScript and Python
• Experience with distributed systems APIs event-driven architecture and CI/CD pipelines
• Cloud platform experience (OCP GCP or similar)
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools including:
• Devin
• Claude (Anthropic)
• Cursor or similar AI-assisted development tools
• Knowledge of:
• Prompt engineering
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Agent-based and multi-agent architectures
• MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Autonomous AI workflows and orchestration
