Security Technician

We are seeking experienced Security Technicians with 3-5 years of experience supporting commercial and industrial security systems throughout North and Northeast New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities

• Install program service and troubleshoot Access Control Systems
• Install maintain and troubleshoot Intrusion Detection Systems
• Install configure and service CCTV and IP Video Surveillance Systems
• Install electronic door hardware locking systems and related devices
• Run terminate label test and certify low-voltage cabling
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
• Perform system testing commissioning and customer training

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience installing and servicing electronic security systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Access Control Intrusion Detection and Video Surveillance Systems
• Experience working with IP-based security platforms and network-connected devices
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel throughout the North/Northeast New Jersey area

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification
• BICSI Certification
• Manufacturer certifications in access control intrusion or video surveillance systems
• Experience supporting commercial industrial healthcare education or enterprise security environments
