Our team develops the core infrastructure that powers OCI Networkings data plane solving complex challenges in routing workload placement and fleet management at cloud scale. Youll collaborate across OCI Networking and Infrastructure teams to shape the future of OCI Networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture design implementation and evolution of highly scalable distributed systems that power OCI Networking.
• Drive the technical direction of critical platform services supporting routing workload placement and fleet lifecycle management.
• Partner across OCI organizations to build reliable scalable and operable cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers influence architectural decisions and raise the engineering bar through technical leadership design reviews and operational excellence.

• 10 years of experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems cloud infrastructure networking software or systems software.
• Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms data structures concurrency distributed systems and software design.
• Strong familiarity with network routing protocols; implementation experience is highly desirable.
• Experience building and operating modern CI/CD pipelines release automation and deployment workflows for large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience designing building and operating highly available production-grade distributed services at scale.
• Demonstrated technical leadership including driving architecture mentoring engineers and leading cross-team technical initiatives.
• BS or MS in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96800 to $306400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus equity and compensation deferral.


Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
