This role works closely with warehouse staff and management to ensure day-to-day tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The Warehouse Lead serves as a point of contact for team members on the floor and assists with training scheduling and maintaining operational standards across departments as Responsibilities:Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper receiving storing and order fulfillmentHelp identify inventory variances and support corrective actionsRecommend process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiencyProvide daily support and direction to warehouse team membersAssist with onboarding training and mentoring of new team membersSupport management in communicating job expectations and monitoring work progressHelp conduct safety huddles and reinforce safety procedures among the teamParticipate in team meetings and provide feedback on operational concernsPromote and maintain clean organized and safe work areasFollow and enforce company policies and proceduresConduct inventory checks and assist with cycle countsGenerate and review inventory reports (e.g. on-hand/no-bin reports) as neededServe as a liaison between staff and warehouse supervisors or managersRequired Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of two (2) years experience with truck partsForklift certifiedPrevious experience leading or mentoring warehouse team membersSelf-motivated and dependableDispatch experience preferredStrong understanding of warehouse layout and storage optimizationExcellent organizational and time management skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesKnowledge of mechanical parts supplies and equipmentAwareness of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environmentProficient in basic computer applications; data entry and typing skills a plusPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at be able to pass post offer drug test and physicalCompensation: $20-$25/hr. depending on experience level and CertificationsPlus Warehouse Bonus IncentiveFull-Time PositionBenefits Velocity Vehicle Group Offers:A fantastic culture in a welcoming great place to work environment.401k with Dental & Vision Insurance along with HSA & FSA -Paid Life Sick LeaveCompany perks such as employee discounts company events and training Training and Career Advancement OpportunitiesWere looking to hire and develop the best!
