In this role youll lead a two-person parts team own day-to-day inventory management for your location and work directly with the General Manager to keep operations running smoothly all while continuing to support customers with the same hands-on service Penn Power Group is known for.


Salary range up to $65000/year - This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates relevant work experience skills certifications and geographic location.

Requirements

YOU HAVE:

  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team (this role oversees a team of 2) including delegating daily tasks and helping resolve day-to-day issues
  • Ownership of parts inventory management including accuracy stock levels and cycle count outcomes for the location
  • The ability to work directly with the General Manager on parts operations staffing needs and process improvements
  • The ability to respond to inquiries regarding the companys services pricing dates repairs will be completed adjustments to bills/repair orders etc.
  • Skills to promote and sell our companys services
  • The ability to assess needs and promote alternative products and services
  • Coordinates activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs
  • Experience in Warehouse Management Systems or equivalent
  • The ability to create Work Orders and Purchase Orders in a systems environment
  • Experience in Parts Receiving and Processing
  • The ability to Kitting Parts and Issue to Techs
  • The ability to Transact Inventory Movements
  • Experience Parts Inventory Cycle Counting
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong servicing experience where in accordance with established procedures performs tasks that require sound judgment and the ability to guide others through routine and non-routine situations

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:

  • Prior experience as a lead supervisor or point person on a parts or warehouse team
  • Experience in opening reviewing communicating status to customer
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Coordinating skills to communicate activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs
  • Strong written and verbal communications along with strong telephone skills are a must

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.; pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.; occasional climbing stooping and overhead work using hand tools.


Environment

Indoor/outdoor shop and yard setting; exposure to noise heat cold and wet/icy conditions.
