About the Job:
Piping Systems Installations LLC (PSI) is a growing mechanical contractor located in Assonet MA. We specialize in process piping HVAC refrigeration plumbing boiler systems and fire protection. We are currently seeking a Lead Mechanical Estimator with strong field knowledge and experience estimating commercial and industrial mechanical projects.
Responsibilities:

- Prepare estimates for mechanical projects including piping HVAC refrigeration plumbing and boiler systems.
- Perform material takeoffs from plans specs and P&IDs.
- Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare labor material and equipment budgets.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks.
- Coordinate with project managers and field teams.
Requirements:
- 5 years estimating mechanical construction projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC piping and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with estimating software and Bluebeam.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Trade background in pipefitting plumbing or HVAC.
- Experience estimating public works or prevailing wage projects.
- Industrial or manufacturing project experience.
