Lead Mechanic

Location(s): 14420 County Rd 5 Burnsville MN

Shifts: Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:30PM

Pay: $35-$40/hour depending on experience.

What youll do:

• Perform diagnostics maintenance and repairs on light and medium-duty paratransit vehicles

• Lead daily shop operations by prioritizing work orders and coordinating workflow

• Provide guidance coaching and support to mechanics and technicians

• Ensure compliance with DOT FTA FMCSA and company safety standards

• Assist with training and onboarding of new technicians

• Monitor vehicle downtime quality of repairs and preventative maintenance schedules

• Partner with leadership to improve processes efficiency and fleet reliability

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Qualifications:

• 4 years of fleet Ford or GM mechanical experience

• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred

• ASE certification(s)

• Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to delegate coach and support team members

Requirements:

• Valid MN Drivers License

• DOT Medical Certificate (can be obtained after offer is given)

• Be able to work independently and on a team

• Strong communication and leadership skills
