Description

The Materials Management Lead role plays a critical role in the successful delivery of Project Helix Honeywells SAP S4 HANA ERP implementation for the Process Technology (PT) business. This role serves as the SME ensuring end to end manufacturing planning through inventory management to delivery processes are designed configured and deployed in alignment with SAP S/4HANA best practices and Honeywells global operating model.

You will drive efficiency and effectiveness across end-to-end process collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements and support overall organization success.

You will report directly to our Director of Materials Management and youll work out of our Shreveport LA Baton Rouge LA Charlotte NC Houston TX Mobile AL or Rosemont IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday Friday.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a primary business and process translator for a S4 HANA project converting operational and planning requirements into standardized scalable SAP S4 HANA solutions
  • Provide inventory management and planning expertise to guide system design decisions exception handling and execution models across global PT operations
  • Lead the configuration and validation of inventory requirements supporting process designs in close partnership with ISC manufacturing planning and production stakeholders
  • Drive process simplification and global standardization ensure alignment with one Honeywell operating model
  • Collaborate with process owners functional leads and IT to gather requirements assess gaps and implement system enhancements
  • Validate user stories and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy process integrity and realization of defined business outcomes
  • Proactively identify gaps recommend mitigation strategies and communicate project risks and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong SAP ERP knowledge in manufacturing environment including ERP implementation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and material planning processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of materials management operations inventory management procurement logistics and manufacturing.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize material flow.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills for effective stakeholder management.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Engineering or equivalent.
  • S4 HANA ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Six Sigma Certification.

U.S. Person Requirement:

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations candidate must be a U.S. person which is defined as a U.S. citizen a U.S. permanent resident or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

The annual base salary range for this position in California New Jersey New York Massachusetts and Washington State (excluding most major metropolitan areas) and anywhere in Colorado Connecticut Hawaii Illinois Maine Minnesota Vermont and Virginia is $101000 - $126000. For Washington DC and most major metropolitan areas in California New Jersey New York Massachusetts and Washington State the annual base salary range is $116000 - $145000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
