Job Summary
Lead Licensed Practical Nurse - 40hr Day - BWH Dermatology Mohs at FaulknerA $5000.00 sign on bonus is being offered to eligible new employees hired in our LPN positions.
Responsible for providing direct patient care and supervising a team of LPNs and nursing support staff by coordinating patient care activities overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions
- Provide direct patient care including administering medications performing treatments and assisting with activities of daily living.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of LPNs and nursing support staff.
- Collaborate with RNs physicians and other healthcare providers in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions treatment plans and self-care techniques.
- Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation of medication administration.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records including assessments care plans progress notes and medication administration records.
Qualifications
Education
Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Licensed Practical Nurse required

- Licensed Practical Nurse required
- Basic Life Support preferred
Experience
- LPN Experience 2-3 years required
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
- Leadership and supervisory abilities with experience in team coordination and staff supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients families and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks make independent decisions and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
