Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Lead on behalf of our client in Irving TX. This role is ideal for a highly experienced backend engineering professional with a strong background in TypeScript Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership drive architectural decisions and deliver scalable secure and high-performing backend solutions in a fast-paced product development environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design development and delivery of scalable backend services and microservices.

Architect and implement domain-driven event-driven systems that support business-critical applications.

Establish and promote engineering best practices coding standards and architectural governance.

Design and develop secure resilient and high-availability APIs for web and mobile platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver product features.

Mentor engineers conduct code reviews and support the growth of development teams.

Drive system performance reliability scalability and security initiatives.

Evaluate and implement modern architectural patterns and technologies to improve platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications

10 years of backend engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated expertise.

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role within product-focused engineering teams.

Expert-level proficiency in and TypeScript.

Strong experience building and scaling microservices architectures in production environments.

Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) including entities aggregates bounded contexts and domain events.

Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of microservices design patterns such as Saga Outbox and Circuit Breaker.

Proven experience designing and implementing secure public-facing APIs.

In-depth understanding of authentication and authorization technologies including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).

Experience with security best practices including secrets management and TLS/SSL.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-native application development and distributed systems.

Knowledge of observability monitoring logging and performance optimization practices.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines containerization and DevOps methodologies.

Strong communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
