Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Lead on behalf of our client in Irving TX. This role is ideal for a highly experienced backend engineering professional with a strong background in TypeScript Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and microservices architecture. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership drive architectural decisions and deliver scalable secure and high-performing backend solutions in a fast-paced product development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design development and delivery of scalable backend services and microservices.

• Architect and implement domain-driven event-driven systems that support business-critical applications.

• Establish and promote engineering best practices coding standards and architectural governance.

• Design and develop secure resilient and high-availability APIs for web and mobile platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver product features.

• Mentor engineers conduct code reviews and support the growth of development teams.

• Drive system performance reliability scalability and security initiatives.

• Evaluate and implement modern architectural patterns and technologies to improve platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of backend engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated expertise.

• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role within product-focused engineering teams.

• Expert-level proficiency in and TypeScript.

• Strong experience building and scaling microservices architectures in production environments.

• Deep understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) including entities aggregates bounded contexts and domain events.

• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of microservices design patterns such as Saga Outbox and Circuit Breaker.

• Proven experience designing and implementing secure public-facing APIs.

• In-depth understanding of authentication and authorization technologies including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).

• Experience with security best practices including secrets management and TLS/SSL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-native application development and distributed systems.

• Knowledge of observability monitoring logging and performance optimization practices.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines containerization and DevOps methodologies.

• Strong communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives across teams.
