Lead Instructional Assistant-Extended Day Program

BASIC FUNCTION:Under the direction of an assigned Administrator oversee and provide guidance in the coordination of Extended Day Program operations at assigned sites; assist with approved academic and enrichment class activities; provide a safe and nurturing environment for student achievement; train support and provide guidance to Extended Day Program personnel; and related work as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years experience working with children in an educational recreational or child care setting. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Valid California drivers First Aid/CPR : The ability to speak Spanish is required for some locations. A bilingual proficiency exam is part of the examination process for those candidates who selected an interest in testing for this particular skill. A 2.5% bilingual stipend would be added to the base pay at time of hire where needed.
