Lead Engineer

We are looking for a bright ambitious and qualified individual who has the ability to:

• Perform stress analyses to solve and report on complex issues related to design life assessment and root cause failure analyses.
• Contribute to advanced testing including the assessment of the physical structure and behavior of metalsmaterials.
• Perform heat transfer fluid dynamics and structural stress analyses of pressure vessels piping systems rotating equipment bridges and other structures using classical and finite element analyses methods (e.g. ANSYS LS-DYNA SAP and others).  Experience with fracture mechanics and concrete modeling is preferred.
• Work with industry codes and standards for the design and analyses of structures and systems.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree minimum in mechanical metallurgical or structural engineering (Master Degree preferred)
• Pursuit of a Professional Engineer license is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with efficient use of Microsoft products.
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings to obtain security clearances at a commercial nuclear plant.
• Ability to travel to customer or project sites which may include weekends.
