Pay: $20$23 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
- Lead the daily operation of the Young Toddler classroom using The Learning Experiences proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Plan engaging developmentally appropriate activities that foster language cognitive physical and social-emotional growth
- Encourage independence through positive guidance structured routines and hands-on exploration
- Create a safe organized and welcoming classroom where children feel confident and supported
- Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers to ensure a consistent high-quality classroom experience
- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and developmental updates
- Maintain compliance with all New York State and New York City licensing regulations and health and safety standards
- Bachelors Degree Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education CDA or High School Diploma with at least five years of relevant early childhood experience
- Previous experience leading a toddler or young toddler classroom preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent leadership communication and classroom management skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet all applicable New York State and New York City childcare licensing requirements
