Summary of Role:
The Lead Demand Planner will support the advancement of GlobalFoundries forecasting and demand planning processes. This role will own consolidated reporting infrastructure and provide executive-level demand insights that support the demand planning organization and business decision-making.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Validate statistical models by independently comparing forecast accuracy across different models.
- Partner with Business Units to align on the consensus demand plan by reviewing risks and opportunities maintaining demand-driver inputs and resolving demand gaps or imbalances.
- Own consolidated demand reporting across Business Units ensuring accurate timely and standardized visibility into forecast performance demand changes and key business trends.
- Develop maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that provide insights into forecast accuracy demand shifts risks opportunities and business performance.
- Consolidate planner inputs assumptions and key demand stories into executive-level summaries presentations and recurring reporting packages for demand reviews and strategic planning discussions.
- Analyze demand trends cycle-over-cycle changes forecast variability and performance metrics to identify actionable insights and root causes.
- Drive reporting automation and process improvements to reduce manual consolidation efforts and improve efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy integrity and consistency across reporting outputs planning tools and consolidated demand views.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education Graduating with a Bachelors degree or higher in Business Supply Chain Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited degree program.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace school projects competitions etc.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity streamline workflows and support effective decision-making.
- Project management skills i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Strong analytical and modeling capabilities including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to collaborate across Planning Sales Finance and Supply Chain teams and communicate demand insights to senior leadership.

Expected Salary Range
$50400.00 - $88200.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications experience and location.
