Lead Custodian Night Shift

Position Introduction:

The Lead Custodian/Housekeeper independently delivers comprehensive custodial and housekeeping services for campus facilities while training supervising and supporting a team of custodians or housekeepers. This position is responsible for ensuring consistent cleanliness standards through the safe and effective use of a variety of chemicals cleaning appliances tools and equipment. Duties require demonstrated competence appropriate prior training and strict adherence to established safety and operational procedures. The role also requires the ability to accurately read understand and follow written instructions and materials as well as apply basic math and computer skills in the performance of job responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience:

• No education required
• 12 months custodial experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

Valid Oklahoma drivers license required to drive university vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date.
