Lead CDL Driver

Clean Harbors Woburn MA is looking for a Utility Driver/Driver Lead to join their team! TheUtility Driversupports our operations through safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment. The successful candidate must have a validCDL Class B licensewith the required endorsements and be comfortable operating a10-speed manual transmission. This position will require local and regional travel throughout the Northeast including occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Transport materials equipment and other items to various locations throughout the Northeast.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
• Maintain accurate vehicle mileage delivery and required regulatory records.
• Follow all hazardous-material handling and transportation requirements.
• Provide professional and courteous service at customer and job-site locations.
• Travel as needed including overnight trips within the Northeast.
• Perform other utility and operational duties as assigned.

What does it take to work forCompany Name

• Class B CDL required.
• Air Brakes endorsementwith no restrictions.
• Hazmat (H) endorsement.
• Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement.
• Demonstrated ability to drive a10-speed manual transmission.
• Ability to train and mentor on job responsibilities.
• Previous route service driving experience preferred.
• Safe driving record and commitment to following all applicable DOT and company safety requirements.
• Ability to travel throughout theNortheastand stay overnight as required.
• Reliable punctual and able to work independently.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with loading unloading and transporting materials and be comfortable working at heights with the appropriate PPE.
