Job Summary

The Lead Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Lead Bartenders are responsible for overseeing bar procedures and ensuring all staff are following alcohol service protocols. Lead Bartenders must be personable professional and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment is knowledgeable about a variety of beverages and is passionate about creating a fun and memorable experience for every guest. Your ability to balance speed service and professionalism will help elevate the overall fan experience during every event. This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00-$12.00 and is tip eligible.

- Lead and coordinate the daily activities of bartenders barbacks and support staff.

- Lead train and motivate bar staff.
- Assist withstaffschedulesandcoordinatebreaktimeswhenrequired.
- Ensurecompliancewithalcohol-servicelawsage-verificationproceduresandresponsible-servicepolicies.
- Maintainhighstandardsofcleanlinesshygieneandorganization.
- Checkbarequipmentandreportmaintenanceorsafetyissues.
- Handlecustomercomplaintsandresolveserviceissuesprofessionally.

- 2 years experience working in a lead capacity in a food and beverage environment. Ability to lead by example.
- High School Diploma or GED. Bartending school preferred.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service certificate prior to working.
- Ability to accurately handle register and revenue collections through a POS system is required.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment.
- Ability to meet the company standard of excellence in the areas of guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of liquor laws.
- Must have the ability to handle guest issues deescalate them and report to department supervisors and/or managers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be self-directed and lead a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours.
- The employee is frequently required to lift heavy objects.
