Overview
Seeking an experienced Application Engineer to provide technical support troubleshooting customer solutions and application expertise for flexible packaging adhesives and coating technologies. This role works closely with customers and cross-functional teams across sales manufacturing product development and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support product recommendations troubleshooting and customer demonstrations
• Support adhesive/coating application processes and manufacturing equipment
• Investigate customer complaints quality concerns and perform analytical problem-solving
• Collaborate with sales marketing manufacturing supply chain and innovation teams
• Lead customer projects laboratory requests and technology adoption initiatives
• Train customers and sales teams on applications safety and best practices
• Document technical activities within CRM/LIM systems and prepare technical reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree in Chemical Mechanical Materials Engineering Chemistry or related field
• 5 10 years of engineering technical service or industry experience
• Flexible packaging industry experience preferred
• Hands-on coating converting laminating adhesives/coatings experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting project management and customer-facing communication skills
• Mechanical/application equipment aptitude
