Reporting to the Assistant Manager the Laundry Worker works to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the department equipment in accordance with standards regulations and department policies; and ensures the continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products in the department so as to provide clean and safe products to be used by the laundry customers in appropriate quantities; and to carry out the above functions in a professional manner that achieves the mission goals and objectives of the Nova Scotia Health.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required
- Knowledge of Infection Control procedures
- Completion of WHMS training
- Good knowledge of Infection Control guidelines as they pertain to an industrial laundry operation
- Competencies in other languages an asset French preferred

- Permanent part-time position; 37.5 hours bi-weekly
$20.74 - $21.56 hourly
