Laundry Attendant

• Sort wash dry fold and organize a variety of laundry items including hotel linens towels and uniforms efficiently and with great care.
• Operate commercial washers dryers and finishing equipment safely and effectively ensuring proper use and maintenance.
• Inspect all linens for stains damage or normal wear and tear removing any unsuitable items from circulation promptly.
• Apply proper stain treatment techniques and adhere to recommended laundry procedures to extend the life of linens.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and communicate any shortages or concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Deliver freshly laundered items to designated storage areas and departments throughout the hotel ensuring timely and organized distribution.
• Keep the laundry area clean orderly and compliant with all safety sanitation and OSHA regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning lint traps caring for equipment and reporting any malfunctions immediately.
• Support the Housekeeping Department by assisting with special projects or room cleaning when needed.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across housekeeping maintenance and hotel operations to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management to support hotel operations.

• Previous experience in laundry services housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Dependable with consistent attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical activities such as lifting bending pushing and pulling items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warm laundry environment and able to safely operate commercial laundry equipment.
