We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to help ensure our residents have clean clothing linens and bedding every day. This role is essential to maintaining a clean comfortable and sanitary environment throughout the facility.
- Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort
- Collect resident laundry daily and as needed
- Sort treat wash dry fold and organize clothing and linens
- Label resident clothing items as needed
- Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner
- Inspect linens and garments for damage and remove worn or stained items from service
- Follow all sanitation infection control and laundry procedures
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages as needed
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean organized and sanitary laundry area
- Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous laundry housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred
- Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
- Reliable and hardworking
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others
- Pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment
