Your Mission:

The Laser Track Technician performs basic dimensional inspection and measurement tasks using portable laser tracking systems under close supervision. This role supports production tooling verification and quality assurance activities.

Explore the Depth of the Role:

• Assist with setup and breakdown of laser tracker equipment.
• Operate laser tracker systems under supervision.
• Perform basic part inspections and collect measurement data.
• Verify fixture and tooling dimensions.
• Record data and generate basic inspection reports.
• Follow established metrology procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and calibration logs.

Mission Readiness:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 02 years of experience in manufacturing quality or inspection.
• Basic understanding of blueprints and measurements.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing fundamentals preferred.
• Attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong work ethic

Travel Requirements:

• Travel between facilities as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• May be required to stand walk sit reach/pull/push with hands and arms climb or balance stoop or kneel regularly.
• May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
