Landscape Grounds Keeper

$17.75 per hour Full-time

Responsible for maintaining the overall appearance cleanliness and safety of assigned outdoor areas landscaped spaces and facility grounds. This includes performing ground maintenance operating equipment assisting with minor repairs and ensuring compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.

What you will do

• Maintain lawns and landscape areas by mowing trimming weeding fertilizing reseeding planting and watering.
• Trim hedges shrubs and trees; prune and spray as required.
• Plant trees shrubs flowers and grass in designated areas.
• Maintain walkways entrances steps and exterior common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Operate grounds equipment such as riding/push mowers trimmers weed eaters sprayers and sprinkling systems.
• Collect and dispose of trash litter and debris from ground exterior areas.
• Maintain a safe clean and orderly work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Participate in inspections and ensure compliance with organizational and contract standards.
• Prolonged periods of standing walking bending and squatting.
• Ability to lift move push or carry materials and equipment as needed.

What you will need

• High school diploma or GED technical training or general knowledge of grounds/maintenance operations required
• US Citizenship or Lawful US Permanent Resident required.
• One (1)-three (3) years of prior landscape or groundskeeping experience highly desired.
• Must successfully complete required preservice training.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record required unless waived by management.
