Job Summary
Lakeshore Landscaping is a growing landscaping company backed by long-term investment partners offering stability and real advancement opportunity for skilled tradespeople. We handle property enhancement work (mulching planting seasonal color) and larger installation projects (retaining walls patios hardscapes).
As a Landscape Crew Member youll be part of a team creating beautiful functional outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. From landscape enhancements to hardscape installations youll take pride in delivering high-quality work while collaborating with a supportive crew.
Responsibilities
As a Landscape Crew Member youll be part of a team creating beautiful functional outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. From landscape enhancements to hardscape installations youll take pride in delivering high-quality work while collaborating with a supportive crew.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain mulch beds trees shrubs flowers and seasonal landscape enhancements.
- Construct retaining walls patios walkways and other hardscape features.
- Read and follow project plans drawings and installation specifications.
- Operate hand tools and landscape equipment including skid steers compactors and other job-specific machinery.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized work site.
- Work efficiently as part of a 24 person crew to complete projects on schedule.
- Communicate professionally with crew leaders team members and occasionally customers on-site.
- Three or more years of experience in landscape installation enhancements or hardscape construction.
- Knowledge of proper planting techniques mulch installation grading and basic drainage practices.
- Experience installing retaining wall systems pavers patios and other hardscape elements.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Valid drivers license required; experience towing trailers is a plus.
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently after receiving direction while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and job site safety.
- Starting pay begins at $35 per hour with opportunities for higher pay based on experience.
