Landing Gear Design Engineer - San Francisco CA - 0701
Our client in the San Francisco CA who is a global leader in aerospace structures systems and components and is looking for a Landing Gear Design Engineer responsible for providing support for their Company.
Position purpose/core responsibilities:
Main Duties:
Landing gear structural design and spatial integration.
Detail design of landing gear structural elements.
Kinematic layout of landing gear mechanisms.
Design of shock absorbers.
Integration of steering braking and actuation systems.
Interfacing with customers and suppliers.
Requirements:
Landing gear design experience.
3-D modeling (Solid works and/or CATIA experience).
Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel WORD MS Power Point MS Project).
Ability to support customer in spatial integration.
Assertive team player who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a team environment and works well with others.
10 years experience minimum in related field.
Bachelors Degree (BS) in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
