Role Summary. CSols is an independent consultancy dedicated to architecting and validating the digital lab. Unlike generalist firms we lead with deep scientific expertise to deliver a holistic vendor-neutral approach. We are expanding our LabWare technical team and seeking a motivated detail-oriented LabWare Developer Consultant. In this role you will lead the technical implementation customization and enhancement of LabWare Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). You will collaborate closely with client subject matter experts business analysts and project managers to translate complex laboratory requirements into scalable robust technical solutions.

In this role you will implement key LabWare LIMS modulesincluding ELN Charge Manager Enhanced Visual Workflows and Plate Managerto build tailored laboratory solutions. As a detail-oriented self-motivated developer with exceptional communication skills you will operate independently in a remote environment balancing tight deadlines and competing priorities while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Build code unit test and deploy LabWare LIMS functional solutions following industry-standard software development lifecycle (SDLC) and recognized programming standards.
  • Module Integration: Implement core and advanced LabWare modules including Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN v3) Charge Manager Enhanced Visual Workflows and Plate Manager.
  • Instrument & System Interfacing: Configure and support instrument interfaces with LabWare LIMS to facilitate automated reliable data capture.
  • Prototyping & Collaboration: Develop prototypes for business review; work alongside cross-functional client teams to deliver custom analysis and reporting features.
  • Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement: Diagnose root causes of process failures debug technical errors and optimize existing LIMS configurations implement process improvements.
  • Team & Client Engagement: Active participation in all technical reviews and project meetings while managing competing priorities in an autonomous remote environment.

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience: 5 years of hands-on technical experience with LabWare LIMS (v7 and v8) including deep expertise in LabWare Industry Template Solutions (e.g. Pharma Template Public Health).
  • Education: Bachelors degree in a scientific field (Chemistry Biology etc.) Information Systems or equivalent practical industry experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proven history of working with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies instrument interfacing and ELN integrations (ELN v3 is a plus).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities high self-motivation for remote/independent work and clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel as needed for client-facing engagements.
