Job Summary

CLASS A - Position includes general labor on concrete or grade crew with the ability and experience to work without close supervision and has demonstrated the will to work on other projects and continues to show initiative. Individual reports to supervisor at the beginning of the workday to receive that days assignment(s). Project size and organization of work determine whether workers spend their time on one job or transfer from task to task as the project progresses to completion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs any combination of the following tasks:

1. Must report to work on time each day scheduled with adequate weather-related clothing and must be prepared to work.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

1. Must adhere to company safety policies at all times and report any unsafe conditions or injuries no matter how trivial to supervisor immediately.

2. Must wear high visibility clothing.

3. Must recognize need for and use personal protective equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS

1. Must be able to pass an initial post-offer and seasonal re-hire physical.

2. Must be able to pass an initial post offer re-hire and random drug testing.

3. Must have reliable transportation to assigned project. Valid drivers license preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

1. Ability to routinely work 50 or more hours per week.

2. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

3. Weekend work when necessary

4. Must be willing to travel.
