The City of Bristol Virginia has an immediate opening for the position of Laborer with the Street Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department. The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the Citys streets storm drainage systems and sidewalks. Also responsible for snow removal for the City and traffic control support during special events. Reports to the applicable supervisor or foreman.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Experience in construction and/or maintenance activities operation of heavy equipment or any combination of training and experience. Other requirements include a valid drivers license.
