Our client in Newark DE is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to join their production team. This role involves assisting with the movement and handling of rubber conveyor belts throughout the shop environment. The ideal candidate is physically capable of performing manual labor comfortable working in an industrial setting and able to accurately read measurements and perform basic math calculations. Candidates with mechanical aptitude and trade or technical school experience are encouraged to apply.

• Move and transport rubber conveyor belts throughout the shop.
• Lift carry and maneuver materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Assist with general shop labor and production support as needed.
• Measure materials using a ruler and verify dimensions accurately.
• Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and job tasks.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and work instructions.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to read a ruler and take accurate measurements.
• Basic math skills required.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred for candidates interested in future permanent employment opportunities.
• Technical school or trade school background is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing warehouse production or general labor experience is preferred.
