(40 Hours/Week)

Salary: Grade 4L: Step 05 Step 08 $19.26/Hour - $22.01/Hour

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Certifications/Licenses Required: MA Class D Drivers License (Mustbe obtained within (6) six months of hire)

SUMMARY

The City of Chicopees Department of Public Works Sanitation/Recycling Division is hiring a Laborer who will be responsible for picking up and loading trash and recycling materials throughout the city into vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Runs a hopper.
• Picks up trash/recycling products.
• Loads trash into hopper.
• Cutting brush and grass.
• May be assigned to litter clean up.
• Adheres to all state federal and local safety regulations as well as City of Chicopee Health and Safety policies.
