What are we looking for

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing analytical testing on petroleum petrochemical and related products in accordance with ASTM and client-specific methods. This role ensures accurate timely reporting of results while maintaining compliance with quality safety and operational requirements.

Shift/Schedule: Rotating shifts : 223 schedule. Shift rotates days to nights.

What youll do:

Perform numerous chemical and physical tests based on American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) methods or accepted industry standards in multiple testing areas
Assist with equipment calibration maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Clean glassware equipment and take part in our preventative maintenance schedule
Assist with preparing reagents as needed
Record data from analysis and report data in to LIMS
Assist in maintaining quality records training records control charts and laboratory supply inventories
Responsible for complying with safety quality and housekeeping requirements
Participate in cross training
