Job Summary

The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Laboratory staff and workflow to meet Customer and Regulatory position will supervise the Bioburden Department.
- Supervises workflow and technical staff in execution of Laboratory testing in support of regulatory and quality system compliance to meet Customer specifications. 50-70%
- Mentors and develops staff for future opportunities 10-20%
- Provides regular feedback to staff on performance. 5%
- Ensures purchasing of laboratory supplies meets departmental needs and approves purchase requisitions. 5%
- Identifies operational opportunities for improvement to efficiency quality and/or cost. 5% - 10%
- Participates in the interview process for open positions makes recommendations for hiring. 1- 5%
- Evaluates procedures and executes Document Change Orders. 1- 5%
- Initiates and executes Quality System Investigations Customer Dissatisfactions and Corrective actions as required by procedure. 5%
- Bachelors Degree in a technical field
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Laboratory
- Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role

Pay range for this opportunity is $74000 - $77000 depending on experience and skillset. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors including but not limited to local labor market costs years of relevant experience education professional certifications foreign language fluency etc.
