Every day you will oversee the full lifecycle of POCT devices from validation and maintenance to quality control. You will serve as the primary resource for all POCT activities providing training and competency assessment for clinical staff and ensuring adherence to policies procedures and regulatory standards. You will also monitor performance identify improvements and collaborate with clinical departments to optimize POCT integration.
To be successful in this role you will possess a strong clinical laboratory background with POCT expertise understand regulatory requirements and demonstrate excellent organizational communication and teaching skills.
- Maintains routine daily operation of point of care functions including but not limited to: production and dissemination of various reports (daily weekly monthly) to hospital leadership; verification of report accuracy and completeness is essential. May train key operators to assist in this effort.
- Identifies and if unable to resolve reports & collaborates with the CSH support to resolve POC issues.
- Maintains all POC support tickets (submission validation notification of resolution) for the Laboratory team.
- Representative on projects impacting the POC during the design implementation and maintenance phases
- Responsible for POC equipment and oversight of maintenance.
- Ensures POC ongoing compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Bachelors Of Science biological or chemical sciences as defined by CLIA and 2 years clinical laboratory experience upon hire and
- Experience with Google management suite of tools.
