Location: Los Angeles CA Hybrid. Our team works in the office 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

Note: Candidates must be admitted to the California Bar and have at least 3 years of civil litigation experience. Basic employment law knowledge is required; this is not an entry-level position and we are looking for an attorney who can contribute with limited training.

Job Description

  • Represent employers in employment litigation and related civil litigation matters.
  • Handle matters involving wrongful termination harassment discrimination wage and hour claims PAGA class actions and other employment disputes.
  • Provide day-to-day advice and counsel on employment law and workplace issues.
  • Conduct and assist with workplace investigations and advise clients on appropriate next steps.
  • Draft and review employment policies handbooks agreements severance documents and related materials.
  • Assist clients with compliance risk management and proactive employment law strategies.
  • Develop case strategy manage discovery draft pleadings and motions and participate in depositions hearings mediations and other litigation activities.
  • Communicate directly with clients and provide practical business-focused legal guidance.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to a sophisticated growing employment law practice.

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • 3 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Working knowledge of California employment law.
  • Strong legal research writing analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively with experienced attorneys.
  • Employment litigation employment counseling workplace investigations PAGA or class action experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business judgment and a practical approach to client service.

    • 3 to 5 years: $180000 to $185000 bonuses
