About the Role:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a talented Labor & Employment Litigation Associate with 4 6 years of litigation experience to join its growing team in San Antonio. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated employment matters working directly with clients and taking an active role in litigation strategy and case management.
In this role you will represent employers in a wide range of employment-related disputes and administrative proceedings while also advising clients on day-to-day labor and employment matters. The position offers meaningful responsibility strong mentorship and significant client interaction from day one.
The ideal candidate will have experience litigating matters in Texas state and federal courts excellent advocacy and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle employment-related litigation matters from inception through resolution
Represent employers before administrative agencies
Draft pleadings motions briefs and other litigation-related documents
Conduct legal research discovery depositions and case strategy development
Advise employers on labor and employment matters and risk management
Collaborate closely with partners clients and legal teams on complex matters
Qualifications:
4 6 years of general litigation experience in Texas and federal courts
Prior labor and employment litigation experience preferred
Strong analytical writing and oral advocacy skills
Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
Licensed and admitted to practice law in Texas
Authorized to work in the United States
