Job Summary
Labor and Delivery RN
Duties:
Providing direct nursing care for patients of the Women and Family Center including women in labor post-delivery post-surgical newborn nursery special care nursery and pediatrics.
Completing physical and psychosocial assessments of assigned patients
Creating/updating/individualizing Nursing Care Plans for assigned patients in collaboration with the patient and their significant others
Implementing Nursing Care Plan
Certifications/Licenses:
Current Iowa Registered Nurse License or compact state nursing license giving the ability to practice In Iowa.
Current BCLS certification
Certification in NRP required within 12 months (offered through ORHC)
Course in basic fetal monitoring required within 12 months
Compensation: $30.00-$41.00/HR
