As a Lab Supervisor you will provide leadership and operational oversight for assigned laboratory sections ensuring the delivery of high-quality efficient and compliant laboratory services. You will oversee staffing and workflow based on patient care needs available resources and staff competencies. Responsibilities include supervising mentoring and evaluating staff; supporting training and professional development; and promoting continuous quality improvement. You will coordinate laboratory policies and programs foster effective communication and interdepartmental collaboration and support budget planning and fiscal responsibility. As a leader and resource to the team you will provide guidance promote accountability and teamwork and support a culture of professional growth while performing duties within the scope of applicable policies regulations and California law.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Microbiology or Medical Technology required
Licenses and Certifications
- CLS - State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required
