Job Summary
Job Summary: The Kitting Operator supports manufacturing operations by accurately pulling staging and distributing materials required for production. This role is responsible for creating production kits processing inventory transactions maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring materials are delivered to manufacturing teams on time. The Kitting Operator utilizes ERP systems RF scanners and inventory management tools to support efficient production flow while maintaining compliance with safety quality and inventory control standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately pull kit stage and deliver materials to production areas based on production schedules work orders and build RF scanners and ERP systems to complete material transactions inventory movements receipts issues and material quantities part numbers lot information and documentation to ensure kit accuracy and inventory and label kits according to production requirements and ensure all materials are properly identified and excess or unused materials to inventory and process all associated transactions accurately and material shortages discrepancies or inventory issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate team manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are available at designated production locations when accurate records and documentation related to kitting activities inventory transactions and material material traceability requirements by properly processing transactions within manufacturing and inventory with cycle counts inventory audits and inventory accuracy initiatives as an organized clean and efficient work area in accordance with 5S to all safety quality ISO and company policies and with warehouse production planning and inventory control teams to ensure operational other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum one (1) year of experience in manufacturing materials inventory control kitting warehousing logistics or a related production environment required. Or equivalent combination of working within ERP systems required; SAP experience utilizing RF scanners (RF guns) for inventory transactions material movement and inventory tracking computer skills and ability to navigate inventory management and manufacturing attention to detail and commitment to inventory to read and follow work instructions production documentation and visual to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers fractions decimals ratios and to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented manufacturing organizational and time-management skills
