Responsibilites:
The Kitchen Manger is responsible for preparing food for guests in a mental health crisis center. Guests may not exceed 16 per day. This position will ensure the program is meeting dietary needs according to all Federal and State Guidelines Rules Regulations policies and procedures and within monthly Budget allocated amount. This position will be responsible for all meal planning and preparation at one MDH licensed program.
- Must maintain a current Kitchen Manager Certificate.
- Be able to stand the majority of the day must be physically able to reach stoop bend lift carry and manipulate various food products. Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds withstand exposure to temperature and humidity changes working at ovens and steamer and dish/utensil sanitizer.
- The ability to work independently
- The ability to recognize individual and system problems and to communicate such information the supervisor
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
