Kitchen Coordinator (Full-Time)

Job Summary
We are hiring foraFull-TimeKitchen Coordinatorat our Des Moines clinic! This team member will support ordering storing preparing and distributing meals and snacks. May be required to assist in childcare classrooms or other admin duties as assigned.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 7:30am-1:30pm schedule
- 30 hours/week
What Youll Do
- Create and prepare rotating menu with meal requirements designated by the Federal Food Program.
- Distribute meals and snacks according to established guidelines for portion size and childs age. Assure consistent distribution of meals and snacks in accordance with established time frames.
- Supervise children maintain classroom ratio follow care plans and actively participate and engage with children when assigned to a classroom when needed.
- Assist with additional administrative responsibilities as needed.

What Youll Need
- High School Diploma preferred.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
- A minimum of six months experience working in a health care facility restaurant or cafeteria or worked as a cooks assistant with on-the-job training is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate in English effectively for understanding in writing and verbally.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs be mobile within the assigned work area and frequently bend lift reach and stand.
