Job Summary
Raintree Golf and Event Center located in Uniontown OH is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Kitchen Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Assist the Chef and kitchen staff with light food preparation.
- Chop and prepare fruits and vegetables.
- Prepare salads garnishes and other simple food items.
- Assist with preparing and organizing food for banquet events and golf outings.
- Help transport food supplies and equipment to event locations such as the pavilion.
- Assist with buffet setup and replenishment during golf outings and events.
- Help monitor and maintain a clean and organized buffet and service area.
- Assist with breakdown and cleanup following events.
- Wash dishes utensils equipment and food preparation areas as needed.
- Follow proper food handling sanitation and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen storage preparation and serving areas.
- Assist with receiving organizing and storing food and supplies when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or supervisor.
- No previous kitchen experience required; training will be provided.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable working as part of a team.
- Must be willing to take direction and learn new tasks.
- Must understand the importance of cleanliness and food safety.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors during pavilion and golf outing events.
- Must be available to work some evenings weekends and holidays based on the event schedule.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods often 68 hours during events.
- Frequent bending reaching lifting carrying and moving throughout the kitchen and event areas.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.
- May work in both indoor kitchen environments and outdoors at pavilion and golf outing events.
- May be exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions during outdoor events.
- Noise level may range from moderate to loud.
- Weekend evening and holiday work may be required based on the event schedule.
