Kindergarten Instructional Assistant

The Kindergarten Instructional Assistant supports the Kindergarten classroom teacher to maintain a positive learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
• Help students with activities and assignments related to the curriculum providing individual attention as needed
• Help in maintaining a safe learning environment for students following emergency procedures as necessary
• Support the teacher in managing classroom behavior monitoring daily activities and promoting positive social interactions
• Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for classroom activities
• Assist in the integration of varied technology in instruction

Requirements:

• Appropriate Certification Preferred

Compensation:

In accordance with the Instructional Assistants contract red scale

Start Date:

August 2026
