Job Summary
The Key Account Executive will manage complex high-value solutions and services for one of RRDs largest existing strategic accounts. Plans and executes proactive effective relationship strategies for large complex opportunities with senior management or executive level decision makers.
This senior-level position requires expertise in print production retail environments and merchandising. The ideal candidate brings a strategic proactive mindset and acts as an innovative consultative partner bringing forward industry trends market insights and fresh ideas to drive account growth. While this role has no direct reports the executive must successfully lead influence and align cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end client solutions. Recognized as an expert in Retail with ten or more years of sales experience.
- Strategic Go-To-Market Execution: Create manage and execute RRDs go-to-market sales strategy to achieve consistent monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Retail Print & Signage Solutions: Expertly address and solve complex client challenges related to how in-store signage and retail merchandising assets should be designed produced and executed at scale.
- Consultative Selling & Value Creation: Serve as a trusted advisor and proactively assess clarify and validate client needs on an ongoing basis leading collaborative solution development efforts that address complex client challenges.
- Proactive Strategy & Innovation: Proactively lead joint company-strategic account planning processes. Consistently bring forward industry trends emerging innovations and actionable insights to enhance client programs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Successfully direct and lead a cross-functional team dedicated to delivering RRDs products and services driving sales growth and improvement initiatives without direct reporting authority.
- Account Governance: Maintain high client satisfaction ratings complete key client account plans coordinate executive involvement and utilize for activity tracking.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 10 or more years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Must have expert knowledge of RRD Products & Services as well as RRDs internal resources processes & procedures.
- Demonstrated success in selling complex; enterprise solutions through both direct and indirect channels to C-level executives.
- Requires the ability to negotiate and successfully conclude matters of major importance; failure to properly consider the impact of sales and related matters may seriously impact the organizations objectives & customer relations.
- Able to consistently contribute effort leadership and creative thinking to solving complex and significant problems in a collaborative fashion.
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work concurrently on multiple complex and sometimes ambiguous problems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform at the highest level of proficiency in utilizing tools and applications to complete assignments.
- Able to communicate complex concepts problems and solutions clearly and effectively to all levels within the organization. Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.
- Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems.
- Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows MAC or other technical tools in completing assignments.
- Previous experience with CRM/Salesforce.
Additional Information :
This role is salary plus incentive program eligible and the current RRD salary range is $50000 to $200000 per year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee and the range may change in the future. At RRD it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon but not limited to education skills experience proficiency performance shift and location.
